whatever the opposite of a headshot is.

i'm so glad you're here !

i’m a menstrual wellness counsellor, cyclical living practitioner, and the founder of mēnē cyclical wellness. my work is rooted in the belief that our bodies are far wiser than we’ve been taught to believe.

your cycle isn’t something to be fixed or fought against—it’s a rhythm, a vital sign, and a source of deep knowing. when we learn to listen, we unlock a way of moving through the world that feels more sustainable, intuitive, and aligned.

how i got here

for as long as i can remember, i’ve been asking questions that mainstream wellness couldn’t answer. why was my cycle so intense? why did no one talk about how it shaped emotions, energy, and identity? these questions led me to study psychology, trauma, herbalism, traditional chinese medicine (tcm), and the nervous system.

but just as much, i learned through lived experience—through experimenting, listening, and trusting my body. i’ve come to see wellness not as a destination but as a practice of returning to myself, again and again, through each cycle.

my approach

our emotions, hormones, and nervous system are meant to work together—not against each other. when we stop overriding our body’s signals and start working with them, we access deeper rest, clarity, and vitality.

my work blends science, intuition, and nature. i don’t separate the mystical from the practical—they inform each other. through my practice, i guide people to develop body literacy, create sustainable wellness practices, and reclaim their cyclical rhythms as a source of power.

beyond the work

when i’m not supporting clients, you’ll find me wandering through farmer’s markets, cooking slow, nourishing meals, and collecting rocks. my wellness practice isn’t something separate from my life—it’s the way i move through the world.

"Over the last 6 months Mackenzie has helped me to not only re-balance my menstrual cycle, but also my emotional and physical wellness.

She has helped me to understand that any variability in my menstrual cycle is not something to be diagnosed but simply a way for my body to communicate to me what it needs.

I used to feel like I needed to have the same amount of energy every day, or that my cycle needed to be exactly 28 days, or else there was something wrong with me, but now I understand that my body moves in flexible cycles, as does nature, and so it is normal and healthy and actually beyond that, helpful and powerful for my body to feel differently throughout the different phases.

Beyond learning about my cycle, she also has helped me develop healthy routines, my gut health is starting to improve, and I am now able to manage feelings of discomfort with more ease. I have spent so much time and money on external therapies in the past, but Mackenzie’s sessions have taught me that it is more about the internal work. Her wellness plans are so detailed, thoughtful, and easy to follow, filled with recipes, suggested readings, encouragement, supplement recommendations and actionable items which I really appreciate.

Having someone to guide you through this confusing landscape of wellness is such a relief. I literally don’t know where I would be with my health without Mackenzie and her constant brilliant insight. I’ve never felt so seen and supported by a practitioner in my entire life and I can feel my relationship with my body and health healing. She also gently pushes me beyond my own perceived limits and helps me realize that anything I think I can’t do is just a narrative – I am capable of healing and moving through my past towards a life of pleasure, joy, and ease."
